EPL: Man Utd get major boost ahead of Arsenal clash

Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund could make his debut for the club against Arsenal, according to Denmark manager Kasper Hjulmand.

Hojlund has been named in the Denmark squad for the September internationals, suggesting he is fit to play some part in Man United’s match against Arsenal this Sunday.

Man United signed the 20-year-old from Atalanta this summer in a deal worth £72 million.

Hojlund has been stuck on the sidelines with a back injury, with Man United manager Erik ten Hag recently saying he was nearing a return to the pitch.

However, Speaking to Bold.dk on Tuesday, Hjulmand said that Hojlund will be part of Man United’s squad to face Arsenal this weekend.

Hjulmand said: “I have been in Manchester to watch Rasmus train, and he is in full gear, so he’ll probably be in the squad for the weekend. There is, of course, a caveat, and he must show that he is ready this week.”
